With software sales of the ps3 getting ever so closer to yours.
And the funny thing about bringing up the ps3 price cuts is that even with those price cuts the ps3 STILL costs more than the 360 and STILL outsells it.
So bringing up that price cut garbage only makes the 360 look bad. Not the other way around

If that's true, why would EA (the biggest third party software developer) outright say the PS3 is making them more money than the 360?
In fact, they were so impressed with ps3's earnings over the 360 they switched Dead Space over to ps3 being the lead platform.
So it must be used as more than just a simple "blue ray" player right?
Bots talk a lot of BS yet with each week, The ps3 comes closer and closer to closing the gap. At this rate, by Mid 2009 the PS3 will have surpassed the 360.
I'm curious to what the bot community will have to say at that point.

Actually, Toshiba didn't have anything to do with Blu Ray's creation.
They CO-created the CELL chip for pc's and the ps3 with Sony. They had nothing to do with Blu-ray creation

But what you just said pretty much says it's been in development for that long. Just because the swapped systems time and again doesn't change the fact that this is the SAME game they've been working on. The game was originally shown in 1999. So that's 10 years
The truth is, it doesn't matter how many improvements the give the people. There will ALWAYS be something else they want and/or will complain for. The best they can do is to continue to listen to the voices of the fans and community and work from there.
And Silogon, your #5 will be on the way. Sony is making a firmware for full backward capabilities for ALL versions of ps3

1- Fans on both sides will always debate exclusives on said systems
2- Why shouldn't people have doubts about this game? It's been in development for so long. Not to mention the various cancellations and restarts of development. Which by the way are only magnified by the fact that they tried to blame Epic on their Unreal engine problems.

They had over 10 years of development time. So if this turns out bad, it sure as hell can't be blamed on time constraint.

Live wasn't working for about a full week during the holidays. And people still complained about having trouble with it until like February.

A couple of Hours is nothing compared to Days (and in some cases months) when people couldn't log onto live

Complaining about such nonsense. Having a ps3 does NOT mean you have to be a lifeless shut-in. PSN down for a few hours does not mean the end of the world (for most people anyway)
What a BS article lol
1- PSN firmware 2.40 comes complete with the voice chat, trophies, and in-game xmb. Which seems to be the case thus far.
and
2- If HOME is successful. Which I personally think it will be.
But the thing is, IF those two things come to pass, then xbox live should be free.
